Arhcitecture for content management

Hi,
I am looking for logical architecture of content management of portal. Say an org has got lot of business process and integrates with few applicaitons and it is portal based application. How does it look to have architecture framework for this type of fucntionality.

In all seriousness that was a very very open ended request for advice. There is really no advice that can be given without some more specifics.

I am not sure if I am capable to answer the questions without knowing more about it.
I am just learning everyday something new like everyone else.

The question was very vague and yes I accept that my answer was a bit sarcastic, but it was polite.

PS: These are all prototypes.
Our production system looks a mixture of all these version and it would be a little different for almost any implementation.
